Gallatin Arts Festival

The Gallatin Arts Festival (GAF) is a week-long, community-wide celebration of the unique artistry and interdisciplinary scholarship of students at NYU’s Gallatin School.

Logo Design

I was selected to design the logos and branding for the festival. Most people at Gallatin refer to the festival by its acronym “GAF,” so I wanted to make that the focal point of the. The other versions of the design are pictured below.

Gallery Curator

I was also selected by faculty as one of five curators in charge of selecting and curating the visual artworks for the festival. Our team both designed and executed the gallery floor plan on the right. For more installation views, please visit the Gallatin Galleries website.

Zenith Mag

Inspired by the summer solstice,

zenith is a magazine reflecting the beauty of the changing seasons. I created zenith in collaboration with four other students as my final project for one of my Gallatin classes. The idea behind this theme was that the magazine would be published biannually around the summer solstice (in June) and the winter solstice (in December). These yearly milestones present an opportunity for reflection and change and, if you believe in astrology, is a real turning point for each sign. Our debut issue - Summer 2023 - highlights such events as well as topical issues like summer love and reef-friendly sunscreen. For brevity, I only included the spreads that I worked on in the copy below. Enjoy!

Care HQ

ABOUT

I was approached by my friend Madison to develop branding materials and a logo for her startup, CareHQ.

She’s developing a platform to provide the market's most comprehensive resource for caregivers.  After her brother died suddenly, Madison stepped up to be the caregiver for her family and again when her close friend was diagnosed with cancer. Thus, she wanted to create a brand aesthetic that was functional yet uplifting for a customer who is likely facing a difficult time in their life.

I also designed an in-depth brochure for the company.
